If you install the Lumnio app on your RealWear Navigator smart glasses after initialisation, you will be able to log in to Lumnio and everything will work. However, we recommend that you adjust some of the preset parameters in the glasses.
File transfer using a cable
Lumnio transfers recordings and photos without the need to connect RealWear to a computer with a cable. If you want to transfer files between your RealWear smart glasses and your computer outside of Lumnio (for example, long videos recorded with the built-in camera app), enable file sharing in your glasses.
Activate it by voice command:

Turning off image stabilization
To make the most of the camera's width, turn off image stabilisation in your glasses. Image stabilisation balances the horizon by software 'cropping' the edges of the video. This setting is suitable for captures functionality.
Disable it with a voice command from the main menu:

Preferred use of LTE modem
If you are using the Mini LTE Modem & Mount module with a SIM card to connect your RealWear smart glasses to the Internet, set your preferred network to LTE. If you plug the LTE modem into the USB-C port at any time while using the glasses, the glasses will automatically connect to the Internet through the modem.
Activate it with a voice command from the main menu:

Action button settings
Set the button on your RealWear smart glasses to turn noise cancellation on/off. If the glasses are being used for remote visual assistance in a noisy environment, you may need to share the ambient sound with the dispatcher. Simply press the button on the glasses during the call to transmit ambient sound, and press again to turn off ambient sound transmission. The button setting is particularly useful for switching on and off ambient noise cancellation. If the glasses are set to operate without noise cancellation, they will not respond well to voice commands.

Text dictation
If you want to use text dictation in Lumnio work instructions (for example, as notes for reports), set up the cloud dictation option in RealWear smart glasses.
